In this blog I will be sharing about God’s amazing grace in my life, my daily struggles, and how God gives me the strength I need to overcome them (Philippians 4:12-13). I will also include words of encouragement and practical ways to apply God’s living word to our daily lives. I pray for God’s peace, love, strength and mercy to abound in all.
God redeemed my soul
There are many reasons why testimonies are important to believers. Some reasons are, they bring encouragement to the body of Christ, they help build friendships by getting to know each other better, and they show God’s handywork in our lives. Scripture also tells us; testimonies show others why we have the hope we do (1 Peter 3:15) and aid in helping us overcome the attacks of the enemy (Revelation 12:11). I used to have a hard time-sharing my testimony, and I still do at times. That is because I had a hard time seeing anything other than the embarrassment of my sins. God has instilled life changing power in testimonies, to be used for all the reasons above. I hope as I share mine now with you, you are not only inspired to search the heart of God, but also see why I have put all my hope and trust in Jesus!
